Also, what is Camelford like and is there much in the way of work there ?

Wadebridge and Camelford are not the centre of the universe, but they are nice, quite rural towns. There may be work at the Sladesbridge Garden Centre or at Cornwall Farmers (agricultral company) Both places are difficult to get to from anywhere in the rest of England. Both have good schools (with six form) with excellent reputaions If you contact Mrs Bernice Kitchen at Camelford Adult Education Centre, she has access to the local careers officer and employment centre. Sorry I can't remember here number, but try Cornwall County Councils web site. Good Look
