what is the difference between a medical assistant and medical specialist?
Asked by r_u_kidding?
I am looking into going back to school to be a medical specialist. I would like to know what the difference is between that and a medical assistant? I live in Missouri if that makes a difference. I know what a medical assistant does but what about the medical specialist? Oh and by the way, the school I might be going to doesn't call it a medical office specialist. Just medical specialist.
