We are looking for qualified individual Motor and Drive Specialist.
Essential Functions:
  • Provide technical consulting in hardware and software to sales team and customers. Develop motor and drive solutions for projects, customers and vertical markets.
  • Upgrade motor and drive installed base and introduce current customers to new technology to ensure business continuity and maintain current motor and drive footprint.
  • Diversify customer base in Baltimore and Philadelphia area with OEM, System integrator and Industrial MRO customers:
  • Specify peripherals where competitive PLC’s are specified.
  • Specify and present motor and drive solutions.
  • Develop relationships with specifying engineers and decision makers.
  • Accelerate new product adoption by providing up-to-date training, presenting new solutions and support customer new product development.
  • Sell motorall levels of customer organization by utilizing the combination of local value proposition, Gexpro national/global resources and Gexpro cross-business initiatives.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industrial technical sales in motors and drives.
  • Strong technical and application skills in motor and driproducts.
  • Established track record in account targeting and tracking skills.
  • Strong time and territory management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal, communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong new business development and hunting skills.
  • Ability to sell at all levels – executive as well as production and assembly.
  • Established track record in reaching aggressive targets and objectives.

    Desired:
  • Bachelor’s technical or sales & marketing degree.
  • Programming knowledge.
  • Six Sigma certification. ~CB~
