International Trade Manager: Cardone Industries Inc

Job Summary:

The International Trade Manager has primary responsibility to oversee and supervise Trade Compliance activities and procedures. The position reports directly to the Director, Transportation and Customs Compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

This position maintains the procedures manual, trade databases, HTS classification, verifies applicability and eligibility under free trade agreements, is the central point of contact for trade documentation, and will act as the key contact for internal and external inquiries regarding Customs activity. Position will work closely with the Import/Export logistics team to ensure compliance for all shipments and an uninterrupted supply chain. The position will provide training to internal personnel as needed and will assist in global expansion efforts to ensure compliance is maintained while taking advantage of special programs to reduce the costs of international business. The position is also responsible for all international and domestic labeling compliance. The position requires a willingness and interest to become involved in operational details such as hands on shipment auditing or process verification in the manufacturing environment.
