Class A Truck Driver: Perkins Paper Inc

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Deliver freight to the customers in a timely and efficient manner according to a predetermined route and delivery schedule.
• Perform “pre-trip safety check” inspection of truck and trailer according to DOT regulations.
• Pick-up cash or checks when required.
• Notify Perkins of any requests of customers.
• Complete other duties, as directed or assigned by the Supervisor.
• Adherence to all rules, regulations and policies set forth in the Company manual.
• Support the sales effort of the company, always following the company slogan of "Quality Without Compromise".

Qualifications

· Class A CDL license with at least one year experience.

· Have or willing to obtain Hazamt emdorsement

· Including Saturday deliveries

· Must read, write, and communicate in english as it relates to the job

• Must be capable of driving for extented periods of time including;abrupt duty hour changes, irregular work/rest cycles, temperature and weather changes and short notice trip assignments.
