As a Used Car Sales Associate you will sell used automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers; closing sales.
Primary Responsibilities: o Gathers information, highlights features, and demonstrates vehicle operation comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles o Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins, greeting drop-ins, responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions o Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport o Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services o Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; delivers automobile o Provides sales management information by completion reports
Required Experience: Ideal candidates will have: o Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals o Outstanding communication skills o Professional appearance and work ethic o Great attitude with a high-energy personality o Superior customer service skills o 2 years AUTOMOTIVE sales experience is preferred
Required Education: o High school diploma or equivalent o 2 year or 4 year Business degree or related field is preferred
